Local outreach event showcases ¹ú²úÂ×Àí faculty and student AI expertise

In early April, Dr. I-Chun Tsai, Dr. Yalin Dong, and mechanical engineering student Andrew Sharkey presented to superintendents and administrators serving in Summit County school districts at the AI and EdTech Exploration event hosted by Woodridge Local Schools, Summit Educational Service Center (ESC), and Northeast Ohio Network for Educational Technology (NEOnet).
Tsai and Dong shared their kick-off presentation “Prepare the next generation for the AI era” and Sharkey operated Spot®, a Boston Dynamics robot, as a part of his senior design project “.”
The College of Engineering and Polymer Science and the School of Education in the Buchtel College of Arts and Sciences are honored to collaborate with Woodridge, Summit ESC, and NEOnet to enhance student learning and engagement and identify potential ways to integrate these technologies into classrooms. Thanks to Dr. Tsai, Dr. Dong and Andrew for sharing their expertise with the community and leaders.
